Our favourite lemon is not actually a true lemon. Rather, it's a hybrid, probably a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange. Its light orange-yellow flesh is sweeter than a lemon's, and it has a thin, smooth skin.
Storage Tip: Can last at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
Preparation Tip: To get maximum juice out of a lemon, pierce it with a sharp knife and heat it in a microwave for 30 seconds or in boiling water for 2 minutes before squeezing
